So a little over a month ago, one of my friend's bands is opening for the band Emery. I decided to go watch them. I'm there for a few minutes and I see these couple of girls in a merch booth for the band "Icon For Hire". I'd never heard of any of the bands playing that night, some were local and some weren't. So I decided both these chicks are hot so I spend about 30 minutes chatting up the pink haired one that I thought was cute....
Later I go out to smoke and I tell my buddy that I'd been trying to hit on the pink haired girl and I thought she was digging me. Lol. He tells me that I'm wasting my time because she is the singer from Icon For Hire. I'd never heard of them and just assumed that it was a local band. Anyway, a few minutes later they take the stage and everyone in the place rushes them. So I made my way to the front row to let this chick know that I supported her in singing. I'd been bragging all night about being a singer. Funny thing was that I totally didn't know they were famous. Anyway, to keep the story short, I didnt' really get anywhere with her, but I did have a great time talking to her most of the night. I honestly still thought they were a local band until I got home and started looking them up on youtube and such. Wow.
Got a picture with her on my phone...one day I'll have a multimedia plan and I'll post it.
