69th Regiment Armory – New York City, New York – 9/11/11 – 9:57 PM
JM: Hay gurl, wat ya up too?
Monique: You have a minute, Chris? We’re putting together some stuff to air leading up to GoldPush 57.
“You ready”, Monique asks the cameramen?
Monique: WpW fans, we are backstage at the 69th Regiment Armory the site of tonight’s WpW house show. We’ve managed to catch up with current Television and Continental champion Chris Lee.
Chris, describe the atmosphere to our fans that weren’t in attendance at tonight’s event.
Chris Lee: It was tremendous. World Pro Wrestling deserves a ton of credit for making this happen on today, of all days, here in New York City. I think it meant a lot to the people who came out to see the show and to the performers who were active tonight.
Monique: We haven’t heard from you since you Heatwave victory over Robbie Milano, Jr. and T-Bomb. Any comments about the match and title win?
Chris Lee: I did what I said I would do. Plain and simple, I made a commitment in returning to WpW that I would make an effort to get things back on track. Winning the Continental championship is an accomplishment I’m proud of and plan to hold onto, just like the All-Time Television title. It’s a special thing anytime you have the opportunity to win a championship within this organization. Holding two at the same time is something very few have done and something I’m extremely proud of.
Monique: You’ve been honest about your goals, including a shot at WpW champion Firebomb. Do you think that’s close to becoming a reality?
Chris Lee: That’s not my decision. The powers that be in World Pro Wrestling are responsible for those decisions and how and when they go down. I think I’ve proven that I’m worthy of the opportunity. We’ll see what shakes out, I guess.
Monique: Speculation has been running rampant about possible entrants into the All-Time Television Title match on GoldPush 57. Any ideas how true those rumors are?
Chris Lee: I hope they are. I’d love nothing more than to start increasing the numbers and talents in that match every time out. I remember stretches previously where you would have ten or more people in the ring battling it out for a title that was special and really meant a lot to the organization as a whole. We need to get back there. When the All-Time TV championship is hotly contested, it benefits the company as a whole.
Monique: I assume you are confirming your intentions to defend the title, even after your Continental win?
Chris Lee: Yes, I’m not the type to simply walk-away from a championship. I’ll defend it each and every show until they take it from me or somebody beats me for it.
Monique: Thanks so much, Chris. We look forward to seeing you in action at GoldPush 57.
Monique: For WpW 88, this is Monique…see you at GoldPush 57.

Fans:
The past few months have been an absolute whirlwind for me professionally. Bursting back onto the World Pro Wrestling scene as the winner of the All-Time Television championship, I added to the tally at Heatwave by winning the Continental strap from Robbie Milano, Jr. I’m in a unique position in professional wrestling, the current holder of two championship belts.
There has, apparently, been speculation that I would voluntarily drop the Television title on GoldPush 57. That is totally false. I have every intention of defending my Television championship successfully against any and all opposing parties.
Speaking of the opposition, I hope several performers decide to jump into the mix this week. The steady stream of Sebastian, EB Marcus, and so forth just isn’t cutting it and isn’t an appropriate tribute the history this championship has. Speaking of championships, I am unsure as to what the next move is with the Continental strap. Perhaps the powers that be in World Pro Wrestling will provide some information regarding that at the upcoming GoldPush.
Regardless of the decision, the competitors, the obstacles…Chris Lee is here to stay and is a force to be reckoned with. Soon enough I’ll be the biggest force in World Pro Wrestling with the biggest belt in the business.
Thanks for your support and tune in to GoldPush 57!

Guys, I’m not going to try to feign excitement right now. I’m not going to act as if this is what I was hoping for, I’m just going to roll with the punches. I was pretty vocal, have been for some time, about my desire to actually bring in some big guns…some heavy hitters to start making this All-Time Television title scene something special again. I’ve made no bones about it. I haven’t tried to sidestep competition.
So, this week, after the open-ended invitation who do you think shows?
I’m sure some of you that don’t know are thinking crazy thoughts…maybe SBK following his appearance at GoldPush, perhaps Grendal returns to World Pro Wrestling, hell word is it’s PDJ birthday today…maybe he celebrates by showing up for GoldPush 57.
Those things sound great, huh? I bet there are people jumping and screaming right now watching this video. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case, folks. Not just no, but hell no…instead of getting what I want and what you want and what World Pro Wrestling needs, we get Robbie Milano, Jr. and some brute named Big Wyte.
Really?
I’m thinking about getting the opportunity to actually compete against top tier talent, maybe some of the guys that helped make this place what it is today and oh…hell…no.
The first touted competitor is a damn bouncer. A guy named Big Wyte who has his two hype men hanging around thinking they got the next big thing. It’s like the three freakin’ stooges, Larry and Curley are bossing around ole Moe…gonna’ make him a big star.
What their really doing is leading a lamb to slaughter. For those of you living under a rock, the last few no-names, Sebastian, T-Bomb and EB Marcus that ran into Chris Lee got bounced out on their ass. Oddly enough, they haven’t been heard from in World Pro Wrestling since coming out on the wrong side of right against me.
If I was a bettin’ man, I’d put money on the fact Big Wyte makes the fourth to come off the street…destined to try and fail…against Chris Lee. Like the others, he’ll get his moment in the sun…face to face against “The Icon”, and then simply fade away.
That’s the kind of stuff we have to put a stop to in World Pro Wrestling. We’ve got to eliminate the fly-by-night cats. I guess I’ve drawn that job here lately.
The icing on this shit-flavored cake is, no doubt, Robbie Milano, Jr. I already took the opportunity to inflict punishment on him at Heatwave, took the Continental championship he didn’t deserve in the first place, and proved to the wrestling world that he isn’t on my level. The majority of guys in the industry get the picture after that happening. They realize what their role is and what they need to do to maintain it, own it.
Robbie didn’t get the memo, apparently. He knows I beat him. He knows I beat his little New Error crony, Sebastian. He knows I took both championships from New Error…just like I said I would. I assume that’s fueled Robbie Milano, Jr. with foolish rage and led him back to me. The saddest thing is I think he expects the result this time to be different.
This time he says he’s gonna break my kneecap and he’s a gangster and generally recycling the same shit he spewed prior to Heatwave. Guess what, it didn’t work then and it isn’t going to work now. I proved your words to be hollow by taking that strap you held so dearly. I proved my words to be rock solid by embarrassing New Error, just like I said I would.
Robbie, you did an admirable job carrying the Continental championship around. You played the part real nice, tried to wrestle as little as possible, generally fly under the radar. Hey, if you ain’t fighting…nobody can beat ya, huh? I don’t subscribe to that philosophy, hence my current reign as the All-Time Television champion, too.
Brother, no more than what you did with the Continental belt…what makes you think you win, carry and defend the All-Time Television championship? Did you philosophy change in a couple of weeks, you have some sort of life changing moment? Or, Robbie, are you just saying the shit you think people want to hear?
Yeah, maybe that’s it. Perhaps you feel the need to rhyme off that ‘I’m gonna’ change the course of my career’ rhetoric. I guess that’s what happens once you wake up one morning and realize you wouldn’t be relevant if your last name wasn’t Milano. Boy, that’s probably a hard pill to swallow.
So, now you’re gonna’ change. You’re gonna’ get revenge. You’re gonna prove you aren’t the same Robbie Milano, Jr. You’re gonna’ restore some respect for New Error. That sounds great, kid. What happens when I beat you again? Where do you go from there?
That’s the error in trying to talk your talk and then trying to screw with me for the second time. What direction do you go when you don’t succeed. What are you going to say from there, what excuse will you use from there?
You are just a few days away from becoming irrelevant, from looking into the headlight of an oncoming train. Just like Sebastian, just like EB Marcus, just like T-Bomb…it’ll run right over the top of you. Enjoy you’re little run as a transitional champion. When the last curtain falls on my career in World Pro Wrestling, Robbie Milano, Jr. will be a long-lost memory.
.::. Following the completion of WpW’s recent New York City house show, Chris Lee and Jamar Matthews are enjoying conversation in the makeshift locker room of the 69th Regiment Armory. Both performers are still in their wrestling attire following the card-ending Fed Cup Battle Royal. The distinctive clack of high heel shoes on the concrete floor pulls both Lee and Matthews from the conversation as they turn to see WpW personality Monique with microphone in hand and camera man in tow. It’s Jamar that speaks first. .::.
JM: Hay gurl, wat ya up too?
.::. Monique doesn’t respond to Matthews, just smiles, before engaging Chris Lee. .::.
Monique: You have a minute, Chris? We’re putting together some stuff to air leading up to GoldPush 57.
.::. Lee nods, and then extends his hand to Matthews. The two men shake hands before Matthews heads his own way and Lee turns back towards Monique and the cameraman. .::.
“You ready”, Monique asks the cameramen?
.::. Getting the answer she wanted, she brings the microphone up to her mouth as both she and Lee liven up. .::.

Chris Lee: Yes, I’m not the type to simply walk-away from a championship. I’ll defend it each and every show until they take it from me or somebody beats me for it.
