One of my friends found out that she had cancer just before Christmas. It was in her liver, and had already spread to one lung. She was my best friend's girlfriend. Anyway, she ended up with a fungal infection on top of the cancer and she just couldn't fight all of it off. She died last night. She was only 24.
Anyway, she was originally from Colorado and had moved here about 2 years ago. Her parents moved her back to Colorado, so none of us will probably be able to make it to her funeral service, but I'm sure we'll be hanging out somewhere for a day or so.
I'll still be on some, but probably not much over the next 2 or 3 days.
