[The scene opens in Slayback’s home. Slayback sits on the couch, looking fully exhausted. He speaks low and slowly, with clear, crisp, words.]
Slayback: I can’t help but think about what Ryan said to me. He said that a wise man learns from the mistakes of others while a fool learns from his own. I sat up thinking about it last night. What could he be talking about? I actually considered that he may have been talking about me. Perhaps he was suggesting that I have been a fool, in not training, in not working like I should. Perhaps he was scolding me. Perhaps I deserved it.

I was actually thinking stuff like that until I sat back, had a drink, and looked at things a little more clearly. Ryan wasn’t talking about me. I don’t make mistakes, so I can’t be a fool who learns from his own. I realized that Ryan was talking, of course, about my opponents in Salt Lake City. He’s putting them on notice for me. That’s dedication; even while in the hospital Ryan’s looking out for me. What a guy. What Ryan was telling these clowns is that if they hope to have any future in this industry, they better do the wise thing and learn from the mistakes of others. They better learn from the mistakes of Hollywood, Carter, Rain, Ozzy Justice, and Chris Bennett. If not, they’ll play the role of the fool, learning from their own mistakes by falling victim to perfection.
If you guys have any sense about you at all you’ll pack up and get out of dodge, because to stay and fight is a loosing battle. It’s not one of those ‘against all odds’ kind of inspirational battles either. It’s definitely a case of stupidity over bravery. I’ve got all the tools to destroy any opponent that is placed in front of me. I’m angry, I’m ripped, I’m skilled, I’m simply perfect. My opponents all have flaws. They’re imperfect. They aspire to be what I already am. They are living in the shadow of my greatness. I have nothing to say, they’re not worth addressing individually. I will simply say that in Salt Lake City, I will shine again, just like at GoldPush. I am the greatest to ever grace WpW and I’m more then willing to demonstrate.
