Ok guys here is the plan in till we build our talent base, the plan is to have monthly events ie Pay per views Gold Push’s with a best 2 rp limt and 3 to 4 week RP timeline and for Elevations to be used for promos jobber matches, beat downs and so forth that way we don’t work our talent thin or burn out handers! and have some fn while we build WpW again! Like always please give me your fead back on this!!

Sounds like a plan to me. I like the idea of having Elevation just for extra boost between Goldpush shows. It's a good way to build a storyline, introduce characters, etc.

Like always please give me your fead back on this!! Just my two cents: I don't think anyone really likes competing against jobbers as there's no real incentive to put work in. When someone signs up they want to be thrown straight into the action. I agree that these shows that are building towards a PPV need to be filled with promo's, beatdowns, challenges etc but this is very rewarding and interesting when they occur between 2 handled wrestlers. I like the idea of the RP limit dropping to 2 so that everyone has a fair chance to contribute. However I think having a show every 3-4 weeks will detract people and make them lose interest. IMO we want to keep things fresh and having a show on time every 2 weeks is about as long as I think an event should occur between the card being posted and the results coming out. This keeps the storylines fresh, the handlers interested and inevitably more talent hopefully coming through the doors. This can be easily done when matches only need to be summarised. I'd keep the 4 main PPV's as is but if time permits we could have a 'supershow' Goldpush to give an extra kick to the schedule. These are just a few quick thoughts. Once again I've thrown my name into the hat to help out on these shows to get them churning out on time so if you're looking for another voice to help then give me a shout.

^ My biggest advise is that if people don't like to compete against jobbers, then they should focus on handling a character and recruit. The more "dedicated" handlers we have here, the better the shows will go. If there's enough handlers that sign up for matches and actually roleplay for them, then jobbers are almost non existant and won't be needed for any show.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree with your thoughts, through and through.I think recruiting needs to begin now, on Roughkut and any other site still functional. What burned me out the last time was writing against the same characters over and over...that was the whole issue.
What we don't want to get into again is running shows with three handlers each with three guys all on one show. Granted, that could be nine "wrestlers", but only three people putting in the work.
I'm trying to get the word out to some contacts I have and don't mind helping recruit, but I think a plan for recruiting needs to be put in place so we can all be on the same page.

Has anyone considered reaching out to the handlers at HWO, since they just shut down? Frost asked me if I was in another fed right now, and I sent him the link to WPW, but I'm sure a few other guys might give this place a shot.

Weren't you managing HWO for a bit there? I'll reach out to the people from NLW once I get the details of the WpW operations. I've put Carlos Bruton into the Fed Cup and will use him if we need an extra number when we start up.

I never managed HWO. I helped out with shows, and I was a staff member on the boards but it was mostly just making graphics, moderating the forums, and helping the GM's when they needed it. I was running HILITE for a while with a few HWO guys involved, but I never really managed to get it off the ground before a few roster members tried to power play me and take control, lol.
Other than that, I ran TWC for 6 months, XWF for about a year, and that's it.
Pro J would be cool if you could get him over here.

True. I think the WPW version or XXX/Drifter 3 would be really fun to do. I can see a Wrestival match in the making.

Hey guys, been a bit of time since talks but was wondering what the latest is. I'd assume there is a working plan seeing as the Silverstars card was posted. Any info you can throw at us would be good so I can let some buddies know about WpW without having a plan of action to really sell to them.
I'd like to put my hand up to volunteer my services for the production team, this is the real reason I've been active here. I've been RP'ing with Carlos Bruton just to get the numbers moving and will do so until we have a steady roster base that doesn't require him.
I can help putting up a main website as a staple for new people to look over, formatting the results in html to make them crisp, help write segments and matches (albeit my suggestion to rid weekly shows of full matches to get results up quicker), help with storylines, judge RP's etc.
If there's no need for myself then that's cool, just would like to be in the know.

Silverstars is the perfect place for newcomers, jobber matches, etc. That doesn't mean 2 people can have a rp battle for a match. There will not be any title matches made there unless specified by Ryan. Segments from "superstars" are definitely encouraged. It will also be a great place to build up a feud before Goldpush. Most matches will be summary only, but some will be written out...mostly due to importance. The option to write out your match is definitely open, and even encouraged for this show.
I'm not sure on the dates for Goldpush and Roy Lee Rumble, but Ryan has offered to produce those shows up until/through Wrestival 6. I'm really excited about this and I'm sure you guys will be too. I'm sure he'll need help writing matches and etc.

Frost created an account a few days ago, but says he still doesn't have access to the site. Any chance someone can approve his account, or figure out what the problem is? I believe his username is "godofwrestling".

I'm sure Ryan will do that. He is the only one with control over that. Send a PM to Admin vouching for Frost (or whatever his sign on name is) so that Ryan knows, just in case this post gets lost in the mix.
We had some hijackers, trolls, and such coming in last year and Ryan had to start tightening security. Lol.

Behemoth and Jordan Thunder are in an angle fed at the moment but I'm still trying to reel them in. I still have unfinished business with Behemoth and I'm also attempting to locate Steve Ashton, he'll be another great addition here.
