Welcome to WpW, we hope you make this E-Fed your long term home. On this page you will find World Pro Wrestling's E-Fed Guidelines, Rules, & Founding Principles.
World Pro Wrestling has built a rich history & all handlers in good standing are encouraged to participate.
1. Out Of Character
World Pro Wrestling E-Fed provides OOC Forums for our handlers to use.
a. One of WpW’s founding principles is we kindly ask all members to Basically treat others the way you want to be treated.
b. Spamming forums with ads will not be tolerated & may be deleted. Send private message to: admin
for specific advertising permission.
c. Please Keep negativity to inside the wrestlers’ roleplaying &/or private venues and off of the out of character forums.
2. Roleplays
We all have lives outside the computer world, and We understand this. WpW however is a roleplay based E-Fed primarily when it comes to competitive match results.
A. Read card lineups for specific roleplay limits/best scored details.
B. In general WpW holds a founding principle of a 1 roleplay per day maximum per match limit. This means that specific wrestler may only have one roleplay posted per day for a specific match. Wrestlers booked for multiple matches may post roleplays for each match.
C. One of WpW’s founding principles is to try and base roleplayed match decisions on QUALITY. Many E-Feds make this claim. World Pro Wrestling has concrete guidelines to ensure this. This is why only your BEST ‘X’ number of roleplay scores are used towards determining your match total score. X equals usually 2 or 3 for most shows/events. See specific card lineup for those details.
E. Questionable Content. We believe in allowing creativity so No words are banned however;
1. Please do not speak in your rp content as the efed handler. Carelessly breaking the e-fed barrier in your rps will result in much lower roleplay scoring and is frowned upon.
2. Real Pro Wrestlers are not allowed to be directly referenced or used in WpW. If your wrestler’s history contains any content that may conflict with this rule/guideline we suggest you omit it from your wrestler’s bio & not reference it in-character within WpW.
F. Roleplays are scored by a panel of judges on the VIP Elite Forum. Access to this hidden forum may be gained through WpW experience, long-term participation, or nomination by a Board Of Directors member for inclusion & subsequent BOD vote.
1. We advise all judges to ABSTAIN(that means NOT vote) & skip scoring their wrestler’s specific match on a card.
2. Roleplay scores will not be publicly posted UNTIL AFTER the show results are posted & viewer feedback from the show has occurred. Usually the following week. This short delay is to ensure the actual results, matches, storylines, & overall content of the show is the main focus following an event.
3. Some specific items to avoid that may negatively affect your scores with judges are the following.
a. Recycling. This practice is when someone re-uses older, partial, or whole roleplays. WpW strongly discourages doing this.
b. Deadlining. This practice is when someone waits until deadline day to post. WpW looks down upon this and it affects the role play’s score negatively. Implementation of a deadline day date as opposed to deadline minute/hour should also help curtail this unfortunate practice.
c. Plagiarism. This is theft of someone else’s writings. Credit your sources. Stealing others’ roleplays is strictly prohibited in WpW.
d. Character usage without permission. Do not use people’s wrestlers/non-public side characters without permission. Please refrain from using other handlers’ wrestlers or their own personal supporting cast without their permission. Information on WpW staffers that are widely available for usage is provided. You may ask in case you are not sure.
e. Unrealistic actions. Things that judges deem completely unrealistic to occur may affect your roleplay score. While WpW is not “real” we attempt to maintain some level of realism. Please keep this in mind when writing.
G. No specific "character" seated on the Board of Directors(BOD) is permitted to compete for a WpW Championship title.
3. NO REAL WRESTLERS
This is a founding principle of WpW that must be followed. Yes, You can have a picbase off of a wrestler or anyone, but we ask you not give your character the real name/character name of a wrestler. (I.e. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson, Edge Adam Copeland, ect...) WpW also prohibits usage or direct references to WWE, WCW, or any real professional wrestlers or companies. Similarities are allowed, as is vague references. Think of WpW as being in an alternate universe along with many E-Feds where they exist but WWE, real wrestling feds etc do not exist.
a. Multiple wrestlers in WpW may have the same pic-base. A Pic-base is merely a likeness or basis for what that wrestler/character looks like. We would prefer this not occur but will not prevent someone from participating because of wishing to have same pic-base as someone else.
4. Supporting Cast
Your wrestler may have it’s own personal supporting cast which WpW has guidelines in place preventing your opponents from using for your protection. We cannot however prevent your opponents from using real public figures if you choose to implement them into your support system.
5. VIP Elite
An out of character forum reserved for established WpW handlers in good standing. It also houses details of the in-character “VIP World Pro Lounge” a member’s only perk. Membership may be gained through Board Member nomination & subsequent vote.
6. Cards/Lineups
Usually one week or more before a lineup is posted WpW provides signups so all non-champions may inform if they will be able to roleplay for an event. Cards, lineups, deadlines, etc will be posted on the WpW forums. Please check the WpW OOC forum for further information on this matter.
A. Strats/Segments
A founding principle of WpW is that all strats are welcomed, and encouraged by staff. The strats must be received by the assigned date mentioned on the card lineup or it will not be used. Please take note, if the strat/segment is not usable for this show it may be adjusted to fit the show or not used at all. Specific Card lineups or OOC forum will guide you to who to send your show/event contributions to via private message on the WpW forums.
B. Match-Writing
This is a founding principle of WpW. Matches are considered the wrestler's in ring work. If you do not send something then assume a summarized result of your match on who won it. If you do not care about the quality of your match we certainly don't care about your wrestler's poor in ring work. Plain & simple. Why should you write your own match? Because if you don't care to write your own match and make it good then why should anyone else? Pro-wrestlers for the most part map out their matches. We've never understood why the same can't hold true with e-feds. You have an option to write your own match results, up till the final outcome. However you may send desired finishes which may or may not be used by producers. This allows you to have a great deal of control of your wrestler.... after all it is your wrestler.
7. Titles/Championships
World Pro Wrestling has a proud history & tradition of valued championships.
A. WpW will never have a glass ceiling or weight-class restrictions or gender bias titles.
These are a list of WpW's historic titles:
All-Time Television Championship
This title was the first established WpW belt, a founding principle of it subsequently is that this title will always be open to competition even to non-contracted, outside of the fed, challengers. The All-Time Television Champion if successful in defending the title multiple defenses is considered WpW’s #1 Wrestler.
1.If a non-WpW wrestler roleplays in the open match, he or she will participate in the match roleplayed for. If the non-affiliated wrestler does not win the All-Time Television Championship they are not obligated to appear further but in most cases the handler is welcome to sign on and make WpW their E-Fed if they wish.
a. If a non-WpW wrestler roleplays in the open match and he or she happens to win the All-Time Television Championship they may not appear on any non-WpW sanctioned event with the title belt in their posession unless permitted by WpW.
b. Anyone who wins the All-Time Television championship but wishes not to remain champion may appear at the next Television Title defense present the belt to the time keeper before the bell of the open match.
1. In effort to preserve every other WpW Championships’ Value. Any departing handler that has another reigning WpW champion title holder wrestler must compete/appear in a final title defense match of the belt(s) they hold to allow opportunity so the title lineage may continue without vacantcy or devaluation.
2. WpW shall NEVER institute a gender specific Championship. This is a founding principle upon which World Pro Wrestling was founded. Title opportunities for all genders. No glass ceiling.
Big Gold Championship
Established in 2003. The Big Gold Title is considered a stepping stone to the WpW World Title.
Continental Championship
2005-2007
World's Hardcore Championship
2006-2007
2005-2007
World's Hardcore Championship
2006-2007
World Tag Team Championship
The Tag titles enable one handler with two wrestlers or two handlers with wrestlers to compete together in defense of the Tag Championship.
1. Tag-Team Match RP Rule. WpW has specific tag-team match roleplaying rules. Only the best x roleplay scores apply to total however the total pertains to the entire team. For example: When only the best 3 roleplays apply it means you can of course either do rps together or decide between your partner who does what. However Only the best three rp scores for the ENTIRE TEAM will be totaled towards judging. So legitimately, one handler can provide a tag team with all of it‘s totaled scores.
World Championship
Established in 2003. Considered World Pro Wrestling most important championship!
This title is generally reserved for WpW’s top drawing card or established WpW roleplayer committed to the long term stability of WpW.
8. Pay Per Views
WpW will only hold four annual pay per view events.
Roy Lee Rumble
Usually held in January or February. The location is annually held in the host city of the NFL’s Super Bowl.
The Main event is usually either a WpW World title defense OR the Roy Lee Rumble Match itself.
Roy Lee Rumble match rules are as follows. All Entrants randomly draw numbers earlier before the event or sometimes the order of signup determines the draw. The match itself starts with the persons who drew numbers one and two. Every 60 or 90 seconds a new entrant comes out. Up to four WpW stars will be allowed in the ring at the same time. Once the ring is filled to the four capacity no one else may enter the Rumble until someone else is eliminated when this does occur a ten second clock will run down & the next numbered entrant will enter the Roy Lee Rumble. Elimination may occur three ways. Pinfall, Submission or going over the top rope & both feet touching the floor. The last person standing without being eliminated will be the Roy Lee Rumble winner & will have earned a place in the Main Event for Wrestival.
Wrestival
Usually held in May. The location varies but generally on a rotating annual basis between the cities that have WpW offices.
WpW’s marquee event of the year. It is World Pro Wrestling’s biggest Pay Per View.
Heatwave
Usually held in late summer July or August. The location is generally a warm climate site.
November Reign
Held in November. The location is generally awarded to a city outside of the United States. This usually coincides with either the beginning or end of a GoldPush World Tour.

11. Amendments
Added or necessary guidelines/rules will be made through WpW ownership or Board of Directors voting. Proper notification will be given if any changes occur.
